About BEC Bright Education Centres
Bright Education Centre is an award winning complementary education centre in London run by young professional Somalis. The centre opened its door in 2006 and since then has achieved remarkable progress supporting primary aged pupils to college students and freshmen years. It has now established itself as a leading centre of excellence for supporting and enabling young people to go onto higher education, and thus improving life chances.
Our students, parents, and staff come from variety of backgrounds and ethnic groups, but have the same ambition and drive to agglomerate their achievements and success, to be inspiring individuals.

In 2009 we received the Third Sector/Community Organisation of the Year award at the London Education Partnership awards, organised through the Institute of Education. We have also achieved Gold quality marks, awarded by the National Resource centre, which recognizes sound practice in record keeping, health and safety, safeguarding, financial procedures as well as hiqh quality teaching and learning.
